Celebrate CrossFit MOMS!

Coach Misa celebrates Lauren's 1st birthday.  At the same time, she is prepping for Regionals 2013!

Michaela is a mom first and foremost before a CrossFit coach/athlete. It can be an overwhelming balancing act that she prioritizes the care our two daughters.  When she is not as the box, you will know where to find our female fire breathing coach.  Splitting time between raising 2 kids just under 4 years of age is a full time job that requires so much energy.  We talk about taxing our "CNS" or central nervous system in training, yet Michaela is centered and is avoiding a nervous breakdown.  She accomplishes this by being very good at prioritizing her time and being very process driven.  CrossFit training helps keep her physically together and mentally focused.  Her passion for CrossFit and her relentless drive to better herself physically, transcend the struggles of day to day stresses of life in general.  Raising her kids is now a welcome challenge and Michaela just chips away at the task with her amazing engine.  She qualified for NorCal Regionals this year! She will represent SV with the team instead of going individual. Our head coach- Misa is such a role model!
