Equalizer relative to tall vs. short people? Not really equal, though a shorter athlete with speed in their squat, he/she stands a fighting chance. Tall people can develop super fast squat technique as well. A squat is a squat relative to a person's height. Having to throw farther and catch a faster dropping ball over time can be a little more challenging. The snatch, clean and jerk seems more fair for those less inclined to play basketball.
