Cool show. I respect Bob Harper as a trainer on 'The Biggest Loser" as he can totally relate with the contestants. From his interviews on .com, he started CrossFit just a couple years ago and stepped into the fire at an L.A. area affiliate. Brave enough to try the program and embrace it as his way of putting the money where his mouth is. Seeing Bob Harper on the floor gasping for air after the "Fran" workout on the .com feature offers the contestants a sense of authenticity in their trainer.
ALL Coaches at CSV know how you feel. We are empathetic to the feelings of our members as we hit the WODs either mid morning or early afternoon. As much as we want to WOD with every member, we believe it is more important to coach and be there for you when you need instruction. We are happy all to have a great group to train with and the bonds developed are not too different than the bonds developed at "The Biggest Loser" ranch.
With the premier of the "Biggest Loser", I believe the biggest winners are those who will start and stick with eating well and train with high intensity, functional movements. Last nights episode demonstrated all that one can accomplish if he/she works hard enough with the right coaches/trainers. Let us DO WORK this year and make great things happen!
