BEEF!

Happy cows roaming and grazing on natural grass over the rolling hills in Pateluma TASTES GREAT! Thanks Joel for being a great cowboy and wrangling in all those tasty and tender cuts.

Mike Green's chili recipe:

1-1.25lb ground beef
1 green pepper
1 onion
1 jalepeno
1 15oz can diced tomato
1 small can tomato sauce
1 15oz can black beans (optional)
1 pack McCormicks chili seasoning 

Dice the onion and peppers up and saute in some olive oil until tender. Toss in the beef and brown, then drain any excess fat. With the pot back on the heat add the chili seasoning and stir to coat all the meat. Add the diced tomato and tomato sauce and simmer for 5-10min. Add in the beans if you use them. Lower heat and let simmer for 20-30min, season to taste with salt & pepper. 

I like to add some extra chili powder, garlic powder, paprika, and chipotle tobasco sauce to mine.

Will make 4-5 servings depending on how much you eat at once. Double the amounts and it'll keep in the fridge for a few days and taste even better.
