Anyone who knows me knows that I have a major sweet tooth. MAJOR. I do my best to keep treats as clean as I can, not only for my myself, but for my kids as well. They are so obsessed with this recipe that they can hardly wait the 15 minutes it takes for the chia seeds to bloom! I have kept this recipe is super low in sugar, but I feel it has just enough sweetness to satisfy any late night cravings.
These teeny tiny seeds pack a big punch when it comes to nutrients. Not only are chia seeds gluten free, but they are also loaded with fiber, protein, magnesium, and omega-3's!
3c Almond Milk

2 apples diced
2tbsp maple syrup
1tsp vanilla or almond extract
In a large bowl add all ingredients except apples and whisk until blended. Add diced apples and stir. Cover and refrigerate for 15 minutes to overnight. Enjoy!!
